A vast majority of clients fly in from around the world to do a great deal of emotional work in a short amount of time. Whether you are coming in for an intensive weekend session (RoHun or Yhandi) or simply making the most of your vacation, break or corporate assignment, there are a number of options available to you for travel.
If you are driving, I am across the street from the Board of Trade and the address to use for your GPS or other mapping device is:
401 S. LaSalle St. Ste 8-H, Chicago, IL 60606. Please be mindful that parking in downtown Chicago is quite expensive so plan your travel budget accordingly. I no longer recommend any particular parking app for discounted parking in Chicago. My experience has been that it's better to pay the garage directly to avoid having your car towed or ticketed due to unevolved third party systems or glitches.
If you are flying, you can come into either Chicago O'Hare or Midway Airports. Please note that I am closest to Midway and the commute is much easier if you are driving in from Midway compared to O'Hare. With that said, if possible, you may want to take the train in from either airport as it is much easier and more reliable especially if it snows or rains.
The train from Midway is the CTA Orange Line and will take you directly to and from my office. The train for O'Hare is the CTA Blue Line. Many clients find this very convenient when they are leaving so they don't have to rush or worry about missing their plane.
If you plan to take the Amtrak or Greyhound into Chicago, please keep in mind that delays may occur so plan accordingly.
As far as hotels, I suggest finding one that suits your budget and is in a safe area. Staying close to downtown is a good idea and affords you the opportunity to sight see and enjoy all that Chicago has to offer.
Travel can be quite expensive so planning out as far as possible can help save on costs. Please note that all services must be paid in advance to confirm and book all appointments. There are no refunds for cancelled appointments.
I look forward to working with you.
